Building: State of Art Design
Climate has a major effect on building’s performance and energy consumption. Architectural design of the building is adapted in such a way, that it shields the indoor environment from the external climate and acts as a Climate Modifier. Solar radiation is the most important factor affecting human thermal comfort.
This school building/class rooms’ orientation is based upon cardinal directions, also vertical louvers have been designed in such a way that it maximizes the amount of sun which heats the space in winter and decreases the amount of sun that cools in the summer. This will give best thermal comfort and natural environment to the students throughout the year. In fact, this environmental feature is considered better than air conditioned buildings because air conditioned buildings reduce body’s resistance. In addition, it reduces the amount of energy required to heat or cool the building, hence reducing the running cost and makes it a Green Building.
School Infrastructure
The school building has been scientifically designed maintaining modernity and the apt educational environs for scholastic and co-scholastic arena.
